For a moment we completely forgot that the FW13 season is upon us and that SS14 is still just a vault of trends floating in the future abyss. The Nisse collection was everything a woman could want for her SS14 wardrobe and more. From colorful hues to classic neutrals accompanied by striped patterns and metallic detailing, this collection was the epitome of the modern contemporary woman. Is it crazy to admit that we literally want to own every single piece of her collection?
Atelier B.
If you never thought carpentry-gone-high-fashion existed, then you haven’t witnessed the thematic performance of the Atelier B. SS14 collection. This collection put the fashionable spotlight on the collaboration of handiwork-inspired wear and rubber boots. The rubber boot has recently made its way from weather-practical footwear to the chic boot club making it a must-have accessory for the SS14 season. The Atlelier B. collection also featured the reincarnation of the modern overall, denim wear and unique tool accessories.
Cokluch
The neutral collaboration strikes again. Judging by the plethora of white, grey and black we’ve seen this week, it would be a reasonable assumption to say that neutral tones might just be the biggest trend for the SS14 season. Cokluch’s SS14 collection featured a variety of neutral tones along with some Aztec-like prints thrown into the mix. The leather harness detailing accompanied by what seemed to be weaponry used as accessories was an unexpected but intriguing touch that embodied Cokluch’s glam-rock vibe.
Annie 50
Pin-up hairstyles, cat eyeliner, and circular skirts galore – the only thing that was missing was the sound of the Grease musical playing in the background. Annie 50’s SS14 collection was a fun and girly retro revival of the 50’s era that featured a modern twist of nautical colors, denim and floral prints. The collection took us on a journey back to the beginning of classic feminine cuts and had us all reminiscing over our bad boy crush on Danny Zuko.
